Billboard Complaint
This service request is used to report concerns and complaints with existing billboards. For billboards complaints regarding content, you will need to contact your District Representative. If you are unaware of who your district representative, you may contact 3-1-1 for assistance. For general questions about Billboards, you may call Code Connect at 512-974-2633 during 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday or email codeconnect@austintexas.gov. Development Services Department will review the service request within 5 business days. Depending on the request, it may take up to 30 business days to be resolved.


Request Code Officer
This service request is used to report primary private property violation types related to land use violations, property abatement, structure condition violations and work without permit. If you have a private property maintenance issue that includes a sewage spill emergency, water main break, water leak, water outage, or high/low water pressure this also needs to be reported to Austin Water Dispatch Customer Service at 512-972-1000 for emergency response. If you choose to remain anonymous when submitting this service request type, follow-up information regarding the case will not be provided from the Development Services Department or from the investigator. Information on a case that was submitted anonymously can be found by searching the property address on Citizen Connect: https://citizenconnect-acd.austintexas.gov/ or by calling Code Connect at 512-974-2633. The code care line will only provide the status (open/closed) and if the report site has been investigated. Development Services Department will review the service request within 5 business days. Depending on the request, it may take up to 30 business days to be resolved.
